OK, healthy-er. I came up with this recipe because we're not supposed to limit white flour, butter, and refined sugar. I brought it to some potlucks and it was really popular. Thought I'd share.

COCOA BROWNIES

2/3 cup whole-wheat flour, sifted
1/3 cup cocoa powder
teaspoon baking powder
teaspoon salt
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 cup raw honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup oil
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 1.5oz dark chocolate bar

Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; mix in the nuts; set aside. In a mixing bowl, slightly beat the eggs. Gradually stir in the honey. Add the vanilla and oil and mix well. Stir in the flour mixture. Spread in a greased 9 square pan. Break chocolate bar into small pieces and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 22 to 25 minutes.

Recipe can be doubled, using an 11 x 7 pan.
