I just kinda make up my own and here it is.
Basic smoothie:
1 container of yogurt (I only use Yoplait or Dannon)
1 banana (a must, I swear)
1 cup Silk Vanilla Soy Milk (my kid's and their friend's prefer it and I can't have milk)
or 1 cup of milk
1 packet of equal or sugar to taste
2 drops of vanilla extract (another must)
1 to 1 1/2 cups ice
Mix together in blender; while blending, add ice a few at a time.
If I want a fruit smoothie I do the recipe above using usually rasperry yogurt and I sometimes exchange the sweetener for a Tbsp of seedless raspberry jam.
If I want a chocolate or mocha smoothie I use vanilla yogurt, powdered chocolate milk mix or a powdered mocha mix but taste it before you add any sugar because it might be sweet enough.
These smoothies are kid tested and approved (ages 7 to 13). Just remember, it is fun to try different combos. I think a tropical one might sound good with vanilla yogurt, pineapple with a little of its own juice, and some coconut would sound good! Enjoy!
