help please

I got an email today from StockJungle.com congratulating me on winning free shares of stock in the StockJungle.com Pure Play Internet and Market Leaders Growth Funds. It says the form is in .PDF format(?) ,that I need Adobe Acrobat to view and print it , and I must respond by the 23rd. Then it says I'll recieve information within 7-10 days for accessing my account. I have webtv, can't read the attached form(s),and the "pure play" part leads me to think its a game. But I can't figure it out. Did anyone else get this or remember entering it?

Hi Stacy, this is probably from MaxFunds Run for the Jungle Sweepstakes posted on Aug 2. Here is the URL for the sweep...from the looks of it, the stock was a freebie if you entered quickly. http://www.maxfunds.com/MF2000.nsf/DisplayContent/1766

I don't know a thing about stocks so I can't tell you if it's a good one or a bad one (maybe George or someone can help you out there). I've entered contests there before and the site looks like it's on the up and up BUT you never know...if it asks you for $$ or credit card info for "your account" then I'd surely have to pass, if I were in your shoes. Hopefully, that is not the case and it's a 100% freebie. Let us know, I'm curious.

Stacy, a) can you download anything using WebTV? b) if yes, then download the Adobe Acrobat Reader (it's free) c) open up the file the sponsers sent you d) either save the document in order to fill it out or print it out.

In the last one,I believe, is the rub using WebTV.

If you can't fill the form out or print it, then I'd suggest you email the folks who contacted you and tell them you entered via WebTV and could they possibly mail the form to you? Failing that, could you forward it to someone who has a PC or Mac and can complete it and then get back to you for your signature?

I found the sweeps I entered. You were right Magoo, its a freebie.The sweeps doesn't even end until Sept. What a disappointment. I'm gonna do what SeaGull said and forward it to my moms pc. I can't download anything with webtv. I only bought it to get used to the internet,but now I can't seem to win a computer. Thanks, Stacy
