Remember a while back when this
was posted for free $10.00 gift
cert for Chili's and Amazon.com
and a few others. I did not get
mine and so I called the 800
number and they had a recording
that said they would not honor
that deal because it was posted on
free sites and was for senior citizens only. They did not say this
When we applied for them! I am mad!
Thay said the responce was too
to great. That is not our fault!

Oh, well, for every door that closes, a better one opens, right? ;)

Ya know,
It seems like these internet companys can do anything they want, and only honor the deals they make to the public only if they feel like it. Just like that company that was giving away free shoes, and did not honor that offer either. There is no penelty for them so they figure "Whate the hell"??? They know nothing is going to happen to them. The only way to fight back is to not hit there site anymore and tell all your friend this is a scam, and believe me, "Bad news travels the fastest"!!!!!

Cowgirl, do you still have the 800#? Could you post it here?
Thanks!

I'm going to file a complaint with my state's Attorney General's office -- consumer protection division, and I encourage you guys to do the same. That is complete CRAP! And an AG complaint probably won't make a difference, but it builds a record against the site owners.

Thanks for the info cowgirl.

I tried the 800#; now, there's not even a recording.

I've come to believe that freebies are very much like sweepstakes. It's not a sure thing by any means, and every package in the mail is a nice sur-"prize."
