I pulled the registeronce.com banner off of Iwon.com. They pay you $.50 to $2.00 per site to register you at various (non-sweepstakes) sites, although Cybergold was one of the choices). The sites were all stuff I was interested in anyway, so I did it. One week later, I still haven't been contacted by any of them. Registeronce.com DID send me a confirmation, which I clicked to revisit them. Of course at that time they solicited referrals and offered more registrations. Had I just signed up directly, the sites would have been instant registrations. Emails to webmaster and postmaster@registeronce.com have all come back undeliverable.
They are a subsidiary of Lifeminders.com (you remember, the worst ad of the Superbowl, LOL) so I would have thought they are legit. Anyway, I tried entering some of the sites they were to have registered at (like lifeminders, onvia, powerize), using the username and password I gave them...and none of the sites acknowledge me. Something seems either "not right," or pretty lame. Just wondering, thanks, ~Geo.
