Well, I heard through my little AI Grapevine that the theme for 4/13 is songs from the movies with Quentin Terantino (however he spells that) as the guest judge.
John Stevens better pick a Frank Sinatra movie and do Lady is a Tramp or something. (I know that song is in Babes in Arms (Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney) cause I was in the musical and had to sing it,)

I guess the girls will have to have a cat fight over "My Heart Will Go On" and "I Will Always Love You"...what other cheezy songs will they possibly pick?

George should sing "Kiss from A Rose" from Batman. That would be awesome. (I read that suggestion in an AI forum, so it wasn't an original idea, but still completely brilliant.)
I bet JPL sings Footloose.

OK and get this...4/20 is Barry Manilow songs with Barry himself. Ooooh boy! What will Jennifer Hudson pick if she's still around? I know Diana will sing the American Bandstand theme unless John Stevens lives through to the next round and fights her for it.

Woo-Hoo...this is getting interesting in a weird freakish torturous way....

Mare "I haven't got time for the pain" Rivera...oooh Carly Simon....why didn't I think of that? ;)

Diana or Jasmine could do, "Hopelessly Devoted To You" from Grease.

Oh please, don't let anyone do, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"! :sleep2:

They just announced that the President will be speaking Tuesday night when American Idol is scheduled to be on and of course all three networks have to carry it so I don't know if they will show it after the speech or maybe postpone it untill Wednesday night.

AI will be taped tonight and Fox will show it tomorrow (Wednesday night). Viewers will call & vote, just like usual.....then the results show will be on Thursday night at 8.

FOX is going to get screwed, there......1st of final 3 episodes of Friends is on and Survivor is on. I"ll watch friends then watch the last 1/2 hour of AI - which is all you have to watch, anyway!!

How about "Raindrops (Keep Fallin' On My Head)" for either JPL or Jon Stevens? It's a different type of song that just about everyone has heard and really isn't that hard to sing (even for me and I was in choir throughout hs, nothing beyond that).

For the girls I think "The Rose" would be a good choice or even "Evergreen", but can any of them hit the high notes in it besides Jennifer?

There are so many to choose from, tough choice to make!

By the way, I was kidding about the Grease song. It just seems like a little pop number that Diana would be comfortable doing. :)

ACK! Ya know if the Prez really cared about us, he would certainly schedule his pre-emptions
on a day when nothing good is on...or in the morning when I'm sleeping.

How am I supposed to choose between the Friends Season Finale deal and AI????

I heard that Friends was going to be a rerun.

Oooh I hope you're right! That would make up for the redundancy of questions from the press last night. The more they asked the same questions, the more I was like "Enough Already! Put George Huff on!" :cool3:

Mare "As Simon would say, "That performance was absolutely abysmal." Rivera
