:mad3: I know it's just a show and I am not freakish about it or anything, but is anyone else mad that they are sending Francis Reid off the show the way that they are? She has been on the show for like 40 years and then to have her get murdered like that just seems disrespectful to her and her character. To end such a great career that way. Please no flames, I am aware it's JUST a TV show. :soapbox: :sob:

I guess Days of Our Lives is ending. This story line is crazy, is it someones dream and they will wake up like Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ and everything will be okay? :mad:

I heard they got new writers and are shaking things up. But gosh, they have killed off all the people that have been on there since I started watching it in like 1984, when I was 10! I heard Shawn was leaving too. Lol, it's funny that I am venting about a soap opera. Maybe I am so into it b/c of my degree in sociology, I find all the people so facinating! :laugh:

Hi folks. I haven't watched this show since 1994 but I would have to agree that killing her off is terrible. I watched the show from 1986 -94 and before that I watched GH from 78- 86.

I am kind of irritated over killing off Alice, but I also look at it this way...

She is ready to retire and Francis had a lot of say in how this murder was handled. No blood and it was off screen, so they did respect her in that way. I also heard she will be doing a lot of flashbacks.

I've been more irritated over the fact that Hope was literally bawling her freaking eyes out over her dad that she never sees, yet virtually nothing for Grand who has been her Rock. And better yet, the fact that Lexie shows up at the house and out on the street where Marlena and Sami are before the EMT's? Come on! And if Alice choked on the donut, why wasn't she gasping for breath or doing that whole universal "hand to the throat" choking sign? Day's just has me peeved.
