Her new special, "Jane Goodall Returns to Gombe" is on right now on the Animal Planet. She returns to Gombe to visit her original chimp family and observe the changes that have been going on.

This woman is one of my hero's, I just adore her work. Hard to believe that she is 70 years old. Years ago, I had the priviledge of hearing this wonderful, gentle woman speak at the Kansas City Zoo.

Me too! Love the heck out of her discoveries. Went to the Nature museum in Chicago and paid $50-some for my family to see the exhibit on her. Saw the special advertised in TV Guide -- I don't have cable. My mom & sister didn't get Animal Channel. Please tell me about it!! :)
