I hope Bush retains Dick "Lizard Grin" Cheney.

That's a tough one, because in my mind it's really two questions. Who I think would make the best VP, and who would make the best running mate, electibility wise.

I wish the Rev. Al Sharpton wasn't crazy. :worry: ;)

really good point. I love the Rev. Al, I think he will be in your face when it comes to writing the platform.

As you can see by my poll results I voted for pharoah. I can get a better handle on him with just his short to the point often humorous comments.

Now for the real world answer I think they will choose Wesley Clark. Good question BTW :cheer7:

Hillary will probably push to be his running mate. That way, in the middle of Kerry's first or second term she can have him knocked off and then be President for 10 years. It would not be out of character for her when you look at all the people that died during the Clintons run in office. But, that is just my opinion!

Hehe. That would be very scary if that did happen to come true. Hopefully, that'll never come to pass. I'd forgotten about some of those government people that disappeared or died mysteriously during the Clinton years, thanks for the reminder C1986goose. :cool2:

I am leaning towards Pharaoh. I even saw what I thought would be an excellent throne for him today in a catalog, and the price was good, only $39.95. Then I noticed it was only 7/12 inches tall!

This catalog is called something like "Midnight Velvet".

Seriously, I don't know yet who would be the best or who would be the best electibility wise. :gvibes:

Why wasn't Bongeezer listed?

I voted for Edwards because he's kinda cute, but of course Pharoah would make a better leader; he could sit on his throne and brood. That's always better than the ones who try to accomplish something.

I really wanted to vote for Alvin the chipmunk, but he wasn't listed. :wink3:

I voted for John Edwards because he would be my second choice after Carol Mosely Braun who wasn't listed.

I think my third choice would be Pharoh since we need some new pyramids. The existing ones are getting pretty old.

How come there wasnt a "who cares, as long as it's not Dick Cheney" option?

It would be really great if people who express their opinion, would also express some facts.

Are you confusing opinion with fact again? Silly thing!

I would add, though that people who subscribe to the Radical Right, like this person appears to, rarely use facts. They deal in religious legend, rumor, fear, and speculation, not numbers and facts and "reality".

That's my **opinion** though.

How about Monica Lewinsky? She always came to the aid of a democrat president.

Sorry that I did not provide a link to the deaths that have surrounded the Clintons since Arkansas, but I thought it was common knowledge. Here for your reading pleasure:

This information looks like speculation. I would think if there was merit to these "coincidences", they would have been examined. Bill Clinton is not running for president, so it is irrelavant.

I suspect onepapersource.com is like the Drudge Report, or the National Enquirer. Thanks for providing the link c1984goose.

c1986goose> jeez, those deaths are a heck of a coinkydinky, huh? I knew about Brown, as I was in the service then, and remember the questions about it. I would think these deaths would be easy enough to verify as being actual. Makes one wonder.
as far as vp, don't like the nominee, so vp doesn't matter. If Edwards were the nominee, I would vote for him. But since he isn't, I'm voting for Bush.

I DROPPED OUT....I THINK IT WAS MY SLOGAN

I like 'em sweet, I like 'em with a heart of gold.
Yeah an' I like 'em brassy, I like 'em brazen and bold.
Well, they say that opposites attract, well, I don't agree
I want a woman just as tacky as me.
Yeah, I like my women just a little on the trashy side.

OR THIS ONE

PHARAOH SAID IN 2816 B.C.
It's not normal for a woman to read! Soon she starts getting *ideas*, and *thinking*...
THINGS I WISH I HAD NOT SAID

I was pretty excited about Hilary Clinton until I read her book "a living history" She is too socialist for me. After she is a politician for a while and gets a little more experience I'll take another look. I want the first female president or vice president to exceed the male presidents by a mile so that we have a chance for another. I just watched "head of state" last night and the character Mays Gilliam says (not verbatim just the gist) "I can't quit. I have to succeed. If you fail you screw up your career. If I fail there won't be another black candidate for fifty years." It struck a chord with me. I feel that way in my career as a construction superintendent too. On a much smaller scale of course. But I feel that my sucess or failure will affect attitudes towards other women trying for the same position. And in this same manner our first female president or vice president will have to be over the top wonderful. Politicians are ruthless and will pick at ,relentlessly .any chink in the armor.

The chinks in my own armor are starting to bleed. A female president would be exposed to much bigger picks.
