Attention, non-voters:

Don't like the war? Don't like the candidates the parties have put
forward? Don't like the assaults the environment is taking? Don't like
having to pay more for medication than Canadians?

Go to:
http://www.fec.gov/votregis/vr.htm

This link will take you to the govt site where you can get a .pdf file
to use to register to vote anywhere in America. The file contains info
on where to send the forms after you fill it out.

Cool! I remember what the world was like before it became easy to register to vote.

If you can control who is registered to vote, you can control the results. That was always the case and it was why some places had voter registration where you had to show up between 9 to 5, Monday thru Friday, in the county seat. That way, the entrenched politicos could tell you who was going to be elected.

The changes have been wonderful! The US actually has a much better voter turnout when you look at percentage of registered voters who vote. (Rather than percentage of eligible voters who vote.)
