I like sci fi and action movies the most..My favorites are Stargate, AI, Independence Day, Signs, Minority Report ...I think I have every Spielberg movie..I like alot of his.
I dislike movies that are violent but have no storyline behind it...and chick flicks that have no storyline, I like both if they've got a good storyline but without it, thumbs down. :sleep2:

Favorite: Comedies
Worst: Horror or violent action movies
I would pick a comedy over anything else 4 times out of 5, though I do occasionally like a drama or sci-fi movie. I also like some art films. (I don't require much plot!)

I like good thrillers and movies with action that support an actual plot, Air Force One with Harrison Ford, Blackhawk Down, and Pirates of the Carribean come to mind. I like smart, snappy dialogue, storylines you don't figure out in the first 2 minutes, and new ideas, in any genre. I thought Holes was really cute and unusual.
I hate wandering, slow, plotless crap. The critics all gave Topsy Turvy an "A+", but I thought I'd have to shoot myself in the head. I also dislike any film with gore & blood, stuff blowing up & car crashes, etc etc, that have no value other than to shock and destroy or kill teenagers. I hate stupid comedy like Tom Green's 'work'. I don't care for movies about reprehensible people such as Amores Perros and those that glorify gangstas.

Least favorite: movies where the mouthes and the words don't go together, lol!
Favorite: Westerns like Lonesome Dove, Open Range. Also enjoy "real story" movies...especially like 8seconds because of the true life story behind it, I bawl every time they show the pictures of Lane Frost at the end...so sad. Also love Lifetime movies.

I like so many--but, if I had to pick--
I'd say dramas & comedies the best & action thrillers the worst.
Some of my all time favorite movies are Gone With the Wind, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Thuderbolt and Lightfoot.
The Shining (Original) is a favorite horror movie.
I'm always behind in my movie watching, of the newer movies that is.

I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. Cheesy all the way :) I have to say I love teen movies also even though I'm 22. Breakfast Club and Not Another Teen Movie are two of my favs =)
Also love Horror movies but I have to be in the right mood. I love anything funny also.
I don't like Sci-Fi or Westerns. Pretty much anything in Black and White (except Wiz of Oz) I get bored with. :)

My favorites are dramas, suspense and horror
My least favorites are comedies (because most aren't funny, just stupid) and action movies that are nothing but car chases and people getting mowed down by automatic rifles.
