OK, is there anyone shocked by this? I always had the idea he was. And seriously, didn't he thanks his partner Todd last year when he won the Emmy? His boyfriend is a cutie too

I am more shocked that he is 39, I thought he was much younger than that for some reason.

I am glad he did this on his terms. although he has never denied it and has been very open about having his boyfriend with him on the red carpet etc....but I really wish it would become unnecessary for celebrities to "come out"

I love Sheldon too and this news was not shocking to me. He was recently on Letterman and mentioned that he would be 40 on his next birthday. He has a youthful face and his character of Sheldon is supposed to be 30 or early 30's, I guess, so that's why many of us think he JP is younger.

I so love this show and its mostly because of Sheldon. No shock on the gay part. In fact Im sure I read this somewhere before. Not that anyone doesn't know without being told anyway.

Love him, love him, love him and I'm glad he has love in his life. He is soooo good on Big Bang and Sheldon has such distinguishable traits that they are easy to recognize. Yesterday I went to see a friend in the same building who is a Big Bang fan and used the Sheldon knock and he knew right away it was me.

Not a real big fan of Johnny Galecki (Leonard) but I admit, I love this show and even as annoying as I can find him, it wouldnt be the same without the whole cast. Sheldon is our favorite as well, but it is his interaction with Leonard and the rest of them that really cracks us up. I kind of figured he was gay (or maybe I had heard a rumor or something at some point) but had no idea he had a partner for so long, happy to hear.

Shocked? The only thing I am shocked about is that there are people who didn,t know. We love to watch the Big Bang Theory. We love all the actors on the show. When he won his award a few years ago, he had his boyfreind with him. I thought everyone knew then. :smile8:

No big surprise, but I do think that when this show started, not one of the bigwigs could have guessed that Sheldon would be the frontrunner of the ensemble.

Omg, you really need to watch the show lol. I am not a huge fan of a lot of comedy prime time shows out there but I really enjoy this one.
