advice on Phoenix AZ

Hi Everyone,

I figured this would be a good place to get information...

I am taking a quick business trip to Phoenix next week and will really only have one night to check out stuff and explore. What are the "must sees" and the "best place to eat" if you haven't been to Phoenix before, and maybe will get back there in a few years?

That would really depend on where exactly you are going to be (east side/ west side/ downtown etc) and your personal interests. I have lived here for about 17 years so I may be able to give you some good advice with a bit more info. I mean are you looking for cultural spots, sports, bars/entertainment.. when are you gonna be here? etc.

Yeah but they just moved into thier new arena out on the West Side (Glendale) which is why I was asking where he/she would be staying. If they are gonna be out in Scottsdale then it would be a hours distance to take a cab. or if they are renting a car. Phoenix is very flat and spread out, where other towns go up, Phoenix goes out... It can take about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours to get from one side of the Valley to the other.

True. I was in Chandler for about 3 months. Really enjoyed. But glad I'm back home in the Northeast.
