We leave in 11 days for the Puerto Rico trip DS won from Nick.com. Does anyone who's been there have any tips or advice for us?
I have been checking into it (I always check into places before a trip) and do know about the Whale watching and Old San Juan and the rain forest, we are renting a car and were staying at Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

Sound like you already know the good stuff. The city of Old San Juan is charming and real touristy, though it can get a little dirty in some areas (just avoid those streets). We also went to the rainforest, El Junque. It was beautiful and since we went on a rainy day, boy did we get the full rainforest experience! The rest of our week was spent exploring our resort (Westin Rio Mar) and relaxing in the sun. I didn't know about the whale watching, though.

Have fun! :)

Tha Bacardi (they pronounce it bah-car-deeeee) plant is quite interesting, nice little history of the family and the making of rum.
