Sorry to hear about this one. They seemed like they were truly soulmates.

Heidi Klum will file for divorce from Seal ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Heidi will file divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week. We're told Heidi will cite "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the divorce.

The couple married May 10, 2005. They have 3 biological kids. Seal adopted Heidi's eldest girl from a prior relationship.

The couple is famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary ... in a lavish ceremony.

As for splitting up the goodies, there's a lot on the line. According to Forbes, in the last year alone, Klum raked in $20 million. It's unclear how much Seal made.

Thats sad, I saw her on a interview not too long ago and she seemed happy in her marriage. I feel sorry for their little ones. :(

Sad, especially for the kids.

I have to say that I've always been a little suspicious about that relationship, however.

I've observed that people who constantly, publicly, loudly proclaiming how much they love each other and how committed they are to each other and how strong their marriage is are often covering up very fragile relationships. Just look at all the celebrity marriage reality shows ...

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey
Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline
Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry
Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston
Kim Kardashian & What's His Name
Etc, etc, etc.

Folks who need to renew their vows EVERY year .....eeck

They would always call each other their soul mates, which always sounds so juvenile to me.

And I love how they say that they had a tense year - well WHO THE HELL HAS not had a tense year of marriage.......

at least they had money and jobs to pay the bills, and nannies and persoanl trainers to stay in shape...

try a tense year, with no money, bills, juggling kids while trying to workout and keep a clean house........then I will listen to you bitch -a- way......about a tense year of marriage LOL

Just because you're wealthy doesn't mean you don't have problems or tenseness. That was a response to being hounded by media. I don't begrudge either of them, because of most celebrity couples they seemed to be the most grounded. They weren't at every letter opening, they were very low key the entire time, there wasn't/hasn't been much press about them in that whatever problems they had they kept it to themselves. As far as renewing their vows - who cares, whatever it takes to keep that sparkle going.

They were always so reachable and I've always read complimentary things about how grounded both were.

I was just coming to report this. I'm really shocked as I just saw Heidi in an interview talking about what a happy marriage they have and what a great husband and father Seal is.

I thought they were married longer than that. Were they together for a long time before getting married? Anyway, that's a shame. They seemed happy.

Heck, I think it is great they are loaded - they employee alot of folks and spend alot of money which inturn employees folks,,,,

I just find it crazy, that given that the " esstentials" of life are taken care of , that they still complain about tension.

Especially, when most of it is brought on by themselves. IE< tv show, day time talk shows, extra kids shows, etc.....
