Know anything about license plate collecting?

My BIL left us over 1000 license plates that he collected over the past 20 years. Some are worth a lot and some probably not worth so much. We need to sell them. Does anyone know how to go about this? There is way to many to sell on ebay and we don't want to go there.

Try to Google License Plate Collector and see what comes up. I bet there is more than a few people out there that would be interested. Good Luck!
