OK- I live in what must not be a big city because this is new to us- but my son is really good- I found his skates 'salomans' at an awesome price- but cannot find gear- like posters for his room (everything is about skateboards or just regular skating)- then I am sure that there must be better (more comfortable) pads for this group since the skates are so expensive I imagine toys r' us at 5.99 is probably not the type of pads he needs... If someone out there bumps into something or sees this stuff if you would pm me that would be great- I have been to posters.com and done google searches, and some things are okay- but he is only 8- so most of it doesn't work- and we live in FL- so it is rather HOT for alot of it! lol. just a note if ya see it- someone is looking for it!

eBay is great for sports items; kids outgrow them so quickly or decide they don't like the sport. My son is an ice hockey goalie and we've gotten some primo items at a great price. Would be worth checking out.

I don't know what part of Florida you live in, but I live in Orlando, and around this area we have a store called Play It Again Sports, with all sorts of new and used sporting goods. They also buy used sports equipment and give you store credit for it.
